Aquisition of Pulsgetriebe Gear Systems (Germany)
In February 2023, EMVIS acquires a majority stake in Pulsgetriebe Gear Systems, a specialist in the development of innovative and high-quality gearboxes. EMVIS intends to further consolidate Pulsgetriebe's position as a niche player in the development and production of highly complex gearboxes and open up new sales markets in Germany and abroad. “We want to help Pulsgetriebe realize its full potential, develop pioneering sustainable gearbox solutions and open up new markets. With its expertise in transmission technology, its high level of vertical integration and its innovative strength, Pulsgetriebe is a perfect fit for us. We value the location in Germany as well as the knowledge and experience of the employees. Aqusition of Leancom (Switzerland)
Leancom has established a very good position as an innovation leader in the field of lean management. In addition to its wide range of consulting and training services, Leancom also presents the Swiss Lean Award. “Our customers' issues relating to operations topics are becoming increasingly complex and multi-layered. They require industry specific know-how and global solutions,” says Daniel Odermatt from Leancom. In order to be able to successfully support Leancom's customers with new challenges, the range of consulting services is being significantly expanded. “We were looking for a strong partner to further strengthen our core and add new, innovative services”. EMVIS will support the further expansion and offers the opportunity to rely on EMVIS experts and their know-how.

Footprint Optimization
EMVIS had the opportunity to support Desiknio, a subsidiary of myStromer AG, in selecting a new full OEM-Partner in Europe to manage their ambitioned growth strategies as well as consolidating their current production footprint. Starting from January 2024, Desiknio will consolidate its entire production from different locations in Europe. Their newly chosen full OEM-service provider, will paint frames and forks, manufacture dedicated components and assemble finished bikes. This collaboration will help Desiknio to further focus on customer centricity, innovation, and product development. We look forward to seeing the continued success of Desiknio Bicycles.

FLEXIBLE BICYCLE ASSEMBLY CONCEPT
The trend of reshoring bicycle and e-bike assembly to Europe is gaining momentum and has required the adoption of state-of-the-art production concepts. The customer demand has been coming along with increased product complexity and customization which led to smaller lot sizes and requests more flexibility in production. The bicycle production landscape needs facilities which are designed to handle market fluctuations with minimal additional costs, offering flexibility in layout and scalability. To meet the changed requirements, Holland Mechanics and EMVIS Experts innovated a modular design approach, which reduces space consumption, simplifies maintenance, and provides flexibility and scalability at once. The commitment of Holland Mechanics to meet industry trends, such as reshoring and using AI to optimize efficiency and quality control, helps to further extend their competitive advantage as a leading supplier in the bicycle and e-bike assembly solutions market.
